At Dardo, we love challenging ourselves with internal projects that push our skills and let us explore new art styles together. For this study, we blended two major inspirations, Brawl Stars and the iconic Akira, to reimagine Edgar through the energy of Kaneda.

After defining the direction, we created animation studies and mood boards to capture Akira’s intensity while staying true to Brawl Stars’ bold, vibrant feel. Our team touched every discipline : modeling, texturing, rigging, animation, VFX, and shaders, to recreate an authentic Brawl Stars look.

We wrapped the project with our own Dardo twist on the classic Akira poster, paying tribute to both a timeless image and one of our favorite games.
